History
WOW!
I can’t believe my dream
has come true!
|
It
was 11 plus years ago that I took my first painting
class, never realizing that I could paint. I fell
in love with it and still love to paint today. I sold
many of my hand painted items to people that I worked
with as well as many of the customers that came into
the Bank. I always knew that I wanted to own my own
shop but never realized that it would happen for me.
After a 29 year career in Banking, I decided to take
a leap of faith, take an early retirement and pursue
my dream. Now here I am! |
In
April of 2006, my husband, Bob and I moved the business
into a newly renovated historical building at 82 Railroad
Street in Abington, Ma. The building was built in
1894 as a specialty shop that sold fine horses, harnesses,
sleighs and household goods. In the early 1900s it
was used as a movie theatre known as The Capital Theatre”
and then in the mid 1900’s was known as the Atlantic
Card Company. Now, 2006, the building has five modern
apartments and a retail storefront. |
